I was admitted to the **** **** ER yesterday with abdominal pain and terrible anxiety. While in the ER my anxiety was of course extremely heightened. All the staff I encountered throughout the ordeal were wonderful. When they were around my anxiety immediately decreased while they helped get my mind off what was going on. I want to specifically thank and praise my doctor, Cory Duncan. After everything, Cory sat with me for 40 minutes and talked. He could tell my anxiety was the main issue and he accomplished more than what most therapists could through our talk. He asked me about the history of my anxiety, assured me everything was ok and recommended ways I could work towards getting a better grip on it. More than anything, he made sure I felt heard and understood. I could tell he genuinely cared about me as a patient and person. Because of him, I felt safe and healthy for the first time in days. His companionship and care through our conversation was the most effective treatment I had received. He is a terrific doctor and the **** **** ER is lucky to have him”

I have seen a lot of doctors, but never felt compelled to leave a review before. Dr. Duncan really went above and beyond in our visit. I was a little more concerned about my COVID Diagnosis than maybe the average younger patient given my asthma. He really took the time to reassure me and address each and every symptom. When I told him I had nausea the previous day he gave me a nausea prescription “just in case”, as well as detailed instructions on what to keep an eye out for and when to return. It made me super comfortable with being sent home. Thanks again Dr. Duncan!”
